About SetBook
Built by musicians, for musicians.
Our Story
SetBook started with a simple frustration: gig details buried in group chats, setlists in a notes app, charts scattered across Google Drive folders, and payment info… somewhere. As working musicians ourselves, we knew there had to be a better way.
So we built SetBook — an all-in-one platform that brings gig management, setlist building, chart organization, band collaboration, and pay tracking into a single app. No more juggling five different tools just to show up prepared for a gig.
What We Believe
- Musicians deserve better tools. Most “gig management” solutions are either overly complex enterprise software or bare-bones to-do lists. SetBook is purpose-built for how musicians actually work.
- Preparation leads to confidence. When you know your setlist, your charts, and your schedule, you can focus on what matters — the music.
- Collaboration should be effortless. Share charts, invite bandmates to gigs, and keep everyone on the same page without emailing PDFs or chasing down info.
Meet the founder

Hey — I’m Alex, the founder of SetBook. I’m a working musician, and I built SetBook because I was tired of running my own gigs out of a spreadsheet, a group chat, and a calendar that never agreed.
It’s just me building this, and I use it at every gig I play — so every feature has to earn its place on a real stage. If you gig, I’d genuinely love for you to try it and tell me what’s missing.
— Alex Gonzalez, Founder
